Foam Techniques has produced a new packaging system for an international precision component manufacturer. The new system protects and displays the range of delicate, high value components. Functionality is further enhanced by the addition of the laser etched part numbers, helping to manage stock and part identification.
The inserts are produced in FT40P Black which is a high quality, dense, closed cell foam. FT40P is widely used in high quality packaging due to its resistance to marking, its good chemical resistance also makes it ideal for gasket applications.
The new system has been produced utilising a number of processes, including routing and laser etching. Using these processes allows very intricate and accurate cutting, and as the images show the part numbers for each item really stand out.
