Our acoustic foam products range from incredibly light weight PU and Melamine foams designed for under bonnet automotive noise insulation, through to railway carriage insulation and even ceiling tiles within your office. Acoustic foam can be cut to your own specific design, and thermo-moulded for specific automotive sound damping areas.
We offer a range of PU acoustic foam with unique facings, such as oil resistant films, perforated vinyls, and aluminium foils, all of which help to enhance the absorbency properties of the foam. Naturally all our foam meets the necessary flame retardency standards demanded by each specific market such as FMVSS 302 and UL94 HF1. A particularly popular acoustic foam is our FT-70 impregnated Pt 6&7 Class ‘0’ PU foam, which is totally non-burning to BS476. We have supplied this grade to the Ministry of Defence for insulating armoured vehicles, and even to the Prison Service for padded cells.
