Significant capital investment during 2004 allows us to now offer a completely new process to our customers. This process entails the heating of specialist polyethylene and polyurethane foam and then forming them under pressure to form sculptured 3-D foam shapes.
By working very closely with our key supplier of polyethylene foam (Alveo), and our key supplier of polyurethane foam (Foam Partner), we now have the capability of producing a huge range of thermoformed foam parts such as:
- Go-Karting body protection
- Toddler head gear
- Acoustic under bonnet pads
- Car door panels
- Skiing bum pads
Thermoforming is clearly going to become a significant part of our future manufacturing, so we are keen to develop any new opportunities you can give us for this process
