In February 2010 staff received their NVQ Level 2 certificates having completed the Business Improvement Techniques qualification.
The scheme, undertaken with the support of West Notts College was completed over the course of 9 months. The manufacturing focused qualification has already paid dividends with the staff playing a key role in the restructure of the manufacturing area. Further projects to reduce waste have also been completed with Foam Techniques Ltd now recycling all waste carboard producted as part of the manufacturing process.
